March 4th, 2011

This month we have had the most amazing privilege to work alongside As U Wish Production to produce an amazing video to showcase the wonderful children of the Victory School for Children with Autism. Producers Jessica Roffe, Brad Berman and DP/ Editor Felipe Marrou, captured the wonderful methods and tactics these teachers use to make this school one of the top places to help these gifted children. Not only were we touched by every single child there, but we were able to create something truly spectacular for the Autism Gala it was produced for. We would like to thank Jessica and Brad for allowing us to be apart of something so wonderful and to be able to share it with everyone who follows our blog.

Hit Factory and Rip Currents

August 19th, 2010

“The Greatest Ears In Town”

Things have been crazy around these parts, but we did have some great experience we felt we needed to share with our friends!

Recently we were invited by the Recording Academy to film the screening of Joe Mardin, son of the late music legend Arif Mardin’s documentary “The Greatest Ears In Town: The Arif Mardin Story” at the Hit Factory. Not only was it such a privelege to be working with the Recording Academy again, but in such a historic landmark such as the Hit Factory and with a guest speaker such as Barry Gibb, it was a dream come true. Also, the film was INCREDIBLE! ** A must see! =) **

“Don’t Get Ripped”

Have you ever wondered what the the greatest fear SHOULD be in the ocean when going to the beach?? Well Professor Stephen Leatherman “Dr. Beach” from Florida International University would like to explain to you what it should be….
RIP CURRENTS!!
We were recently given the opportunity to accompany Professor Leatherman as he makes it his personal mission to help locals and the public alike what to look for when in the water and how to get out of a situation where you might be caught in the mouth of the monster!

Look out for the video! Coming soon!

Knight and Day Press Junket and Edit with a Legend

July 2nd, 2010

Happy Friday Everyone!
Before the holiday weekend we decided a quick little update was a must!
Recently our very own Felipe Marrou had the great opportunity work with Triskel Image and assist them while also being able to meet Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz while shooting their press junket for new movie “Knight and Day”. Not only were they both very sweet and humble, but we also found out that Tom Cruise is a pilot and a fan of Cessna 150-152′s as Felipe has been a pilot of for many years!
Here is a video message he so kindly gave to the Cessna 150-152 Club:
Tom Cruise shows his love for the Cessna 150-152 Flyers

Also, our editor Vanessa Viera received the opportunity to work with Emmy Award Winning Producer Barney Rosenzweig! He is best known for producing the 1980s television series Cagney & Lacey. Her experience editing with his was absolutely amazing and we can’t wait to work with him on his next project very soon!

Bahamas Photo Shoot

It has been an exciting couple of weeks for VTM as we have been able to travel to some beautiful places such as the Bahamas to be apart of some wonderful productions.

In the Bahamas, we have had the great opportunity to work on a Behind-the Scenes at a photo shoot with Golden Lady and Clou Productions.

With the beautiful weather and not the mention the models, it turned out to be a great experience and a wonderful shoot! We cannot wait for the next one.

Stay tuned for more fun tropical adventures to come!!

Kelly Roland Performs at Club Mansion for WMC 2010

We also had a great opportunity of being able to video Ms. Kelly Roland for her new album at Club Mansion on South Beach.

Everyone seemed to enjoy her performance just as much as we liked filming it.
We can tell already her new single is going to be a smash hit!

Key Fire Hose Corp

Ever been interested to know what it is that actually makes a fire hose, a reliable fire hose?
We surely did! With Miami weather actually working in our favor (for once) we were able to film Key Fire Corp’s instructional video about the things to look for to make sure the hose you’re using is one that will keep you safe.

They are currently on tour right now to promote their hoses along with showcasing our video!
So watch out for them coming to a town near you! =)

Studying the Currents with Professor from FIU

June 18th, 2010

Although all of our shoots are always fun and exciting in their own ways; we learned they can also be very educational too! Our own Felipe Marrou recently was able to capture the study of currents with one of FIU’s professors on a helicopter. The aerial shots came out wonderful, and we all know that Felipe would rather be flying than even be on land!

Here are some photos from the shoot:
